Steve and Ken formed Montpelier Nut Company in 1996, where they could retain complete control of every aspect in the production and marketing of the almonds they grow.
A family tradition
Montpelier Nut Company was created in 1996 by Steve Zeff and Ken Alldrin, second- and third-generation almond growers whose fathers were among the first to cultivate almonds in the fertile soil of the east side of Stanislaus County. Steve and Ken began working in their family’s orchards in the early 1970s, learning and developing the techniques to produce consistently high-quality almonds.
